Adding notes to the Calendar

You can add notes to the calendar as reminders of things you need to do or upcoming events.

To open the calendar, log into the library system and load the Management page. From the menu bar at the top of the page select 'Tools' then select 'Calendar' from the list.

From the 'set' box, select 'Note'.

Click the day in the calendar that you wish to create a note for. The notes window will open.

From here, you can create two types of notes. a personal note or public note. Personal notes are only shown to the user that is logged in. For instance, if you create a personal note as the administrator user then only the administrator will be able to see that note. If you create a public note, any user that can access the calendar will see that entry.

Type the note and click 'OK' to save it.

To indicate that there is a note on a particular day, an icon will show on the day of the note.
