We are pleased to deliver a new, fresher version of Management. This new version comes with a light and dark mode and the ability to easily swap between the two, or to match the settings selected on your machine. There have also been a number of other changes to Management, such as an improvement to the font and the removal of icons to declutter the interface.
You can now select which interface you would like to use by selecting it from the 'Appearance' menu in the top right-hand corner of the Management page.
Note that your selection is stored locally as a cookie. Therefore, logging in as a different user on the machine, using a different machine, or clearing the cache of the web browser will remove the cookie and force the selection back to the default 'Sync with your device' mode.
Sync with your device
The 'Sync with your device' option is the default, so when first loading Management, or when selecting this setting, it will force the Management system to match the settings you have selected for your device. If you have selected light mode, the library system will be on light mode and likewise for dark mode.
You can alter this from the windows settings on your machine. Press the start button on your desktop and type "Colors", the top result should be 'Choose your accent color', select this and the settings box will open.
Under 'Choose your default app mode', select either 'Light' or 'Dark'. The Management page of the library system will now match your selection. You may need to close and reload your browser for this change to take full effect.
Light Mode
If you are already on dark mode, or your system settings are on dark mode and you are currently matching your system, selecting the 'Light' option will swap management to this screen.
Dark Mode
If you want to swap your system from the light mode, or your system settings are on light mode and you are currently matching your system, selecting the 'Dark' option will swap management to this screen.
