Marking Individual Resources on the Floor Plan

A floor plan is a diagram/map of the library which is used to help borrowers locate resources in the library. Once a resource has had its location applied to a floor plan it will appear as a repeating blip which can be viewed by searching for the resource through the homepage.

In addition to marking resources on the floor plan individually, you can mark them in bulk.

Once you have created and uploaded a floor plan, when editing an existing resource, click the 'Floor Plan' tab.

Once on the 'floor plan' tab, click in the box in the top left and select the floor plan to associate with this resource.

The Floor Plan will load in the record card. Click anywhere on the map to assign the resource a position on the map. The blip will flash where the map was clicked.

Click 'Save' to retain the changes.
