Overdrive is an online resource database of eBooks and audiobooks. You can integrate your library system with Overdrive to import resources into your database.
Log into your library system as an administrator and load Management. Select 'Settings' on the menu bar at the top of the screen and select 'Module Settings' and 'Overdrive Settings...' from the list.
Enter the details obtained from your overdrive representative.
Setting the Scheduled Import of Overdrive Resources
Select 'Tools' from the menu bar at the top of the page and select 'Schedule...' from the list.
On the Schedule window, Select the Pencil Icon in line with 'Catalogue Enrichment'.
Tick the 'Import Overdrive Resources' tick box and select 'OK'.
Select the 'Clock' Icon on the same row. Ensure the 'start date' and 'time' are set in the future (we recommend the time is between the hours of 4pm and 8am). Set the 'frequency' to 'Weekly' and select 'Ok'.
If the status does not automatically change to 'Running' you can select the 'Green button' to run the 'Catalogue enrichment' task immediately.
