Circulate on the Reading Cloud app gives you a simple and quick method of issuing and returning resources. The app version of Circulate is a simplified version, similar to that used by junior schools, if you are a senior customer you will not have access to some of the features you are used to such as searching for students by name, managing fines, setting specific loan periods etc.

To issue an individual resource, first type the resource barcode into the top box and press the enter/return button on your keypad, or press the barcode icon to turn on your device's camera to use as a barcode scanner and scan the barcode.
Once the resource details are showing on the screen, repeat the process with the borrower's barcode, either type or scan it and the resource will be issued to the borrower.
To return a resource, repeat the process of typing/scanning the resource barcode and the resource will be automatically returned.
If you have typed the wrong number, press the X on the right of the box to clear it and start again.
Multi Issue
To issue multiple resources to the same borrower, press the Multi Issue button at the bottom of the screen. This process will work in reverse to normal circulate, first type/scan the borrower's barcode then the resource barcode. Once issued, the resource details will show below the box and the borrower details will remain on screen, continue typing/scanning the resources until they are all issued.
Press the X on the right hand side of the borrower barcode box to clear it and type/scan the next borrower to repeat the process for the next batch of resources.
Multi Return
Multi return allows you to return multiple resources in one go. Similar to Multi Issue, type/scan the resources to be returned one at a time and they will be listed below the box as they are returned.
