The Quick Cat feature allows you to quickly add resources to your catalogue.
First, in the top box, enter the barcode you have attached to the resource, you can either type it, or click on the barcode icon to open your device's camera to use as a barcode reader. You may need to allow the app access to your camera for this.
Next, repeat with the ISBN, this is the large barcode that is normally on the back of the resource and usually starts 978.
The screen will now change to show the resource information, if the ISBN is recognised as a resource already in your library system or in our Discovery database, you will see an image of the item along with the title, author, location, resource type and the barcode and ISBN you have just entered.
You can alter the title, author and location to suit your individual needs if you wish, once you happy with the information, press the 'Save' button and the resource will be added to your catalogue. You will then be returned to the previous screen to start the process again.
