Reminder Type Differences

There are 4 different types of reminder: Individual, Group, statement and Memo.

  • Individual reminders are documents which are sent to the borrower or the borrower's guardian to remind them of resources they have that are overdue.
  • Group reminders are documents that are sent to form tutors to inform them of all the resources currently on loan to the students in their class.
  • Statements are used to inform borrowers of their current balance and if they currently owe money to the library for lost or overdue resources.
  • Memos are reminders that can be sent to borrowers to alert them of their overdue resources without changing the reminder number. They can also be used to send communications regarding news or upcoming events.

The text and layout of each reminder may also vary, each type of reminder can be edited from within the reminder settings.
