Resource/Borrower Colour Coding

Throughout the system, resources and borrowers in the grid are colour coded to make it easy to visually identify what the current status of a record is.

When in Resources for example, the records will either show in black, green, blue, red or orange.

  • Red
    • Borrower has at least one overdue loan.
    • Resource is on loan to a borrower and is overdue.
  • Blue
    • Borrower has at least one resource on loan but no overdue resources.
    • Resource is on loan to a borrower and not overdue.
  • Green
    • Borrower has at least one active reservation.
    • Resource is reserved by a borrower.
  • Orange
    • Resource is part of a project box. The box is not on loan or reserved.
  • Black
    • Borrower does not have a resource reserved or on loan.
    • Resource is available. It is not reserved, on loan or part of a project box.

These colours are in order of precedence. A resource or borrower may be more than one status, if this is the case the colour nearest the top of the table wins. For instance, if a resource is both reserved and overdue, the resource in the grid will show as red.

It is not possible to modify this colour code, the system will automatically calculate the correct colour based on the status of the resource.
