Searching Resources by Date Added

When running reports on your data, you can use advanced search to filter your page down to display only resources added before, after or between certain dates. 

Log into your library system and load Management. Select 'Resources' on the left-hand side and select 'Advanced Search' in the top right-hand corner.

You will now see the Advanced Search table.

  • Under Field, select 'Date Added'. 
  • Under Operator, select 'Greater Than'
  • Under 'Value' type the first date into the box (The earlier date).
  • Click 'Add', this will add that search criteria to the table.
  • Change the entry under Boolean from 'Or' to 'And'.
  • Change Operator to 'Less Than'.
  • Change the Value to the second date (The later date).
  • Click 'Add' and then 'Apply'.

This will show you all of resources added between the two dates that you have specified.

Please note that this feature will not show you resources added on the dates shown.  You must put the day before and/or after depending on what you wish to search.  If you require only 1 day then do not use 'Equal To' under 'Operator', you will need to use this method and put the days either side of the day in question.
