When Would You Recommend I Perform a Stock Check?

We strongly advise you do not carry out a stock check when resources are being issued and returned. When performing smaller stock checks covering only part of the library you can carry these out throughout the year by closing the specific area of the library and preventing loans from that section. 

When running an entire catalogue stock check covering your entire library we recommend you do this outside of term time when no resources will be issued and you can devote your time to the stock check.
