Connect error 'SqlDateTime overflow'

If your Connect synchronisation is failing, does the log contain an 'SqlDateTime overflow' error.

The 'SqlDateTime overflow' error message occurs when a date that is not between 01/01/1753 and 12/31/9999 is attempted to be inserted into a datetime column, in a table.

Commonly, this is caused by an on-roll borrower not having a date of birth or a Leaver not having a date of leaving within the Management system. This could also be caused by either of these fields having a date value that is not between the range as per the above. 

This issue should be rectified in the Management system by correcting the error in the offending field, please contact your MIS supplier for assistance with this if it is not immediately obvious.
