How Do I Update Connect Script Files?

The latest script files can be downloaded by altering a value in a configuration file which then forces the program to download the most current version.  

Locate and open the 'GCExporter.ini' file, which is stored in the Groupcall installation directory (by default C:\Program Files (x86)\GroupCall\Xporter\).

Next to the 'MLS_[MIS]_ID =' line, change the value after the equals sign to 0. Please note, 'MIS' is a placeholder for the name of the management information system in use at the school. 'MIS' could actually read as 'SIMS.net', 'CMIS' etc.

Save this file and restart the 'GroupCall Xporter' service.

The Xporter program will then attempt to download and install the current version. You can track the progress of this from the log files.
