Importing the Barcode Numbers for Borrowers via CSV

You can import barcode numbers for borrowers in advance rather than assigning barcodes to the borrowers when transferring from the intake table. However, if the borrowers have already been assigned a barcode and are in the Borrowers table then you cannot use a CSV to change their barcode. Tutor group and year group can be changed through a CSV import.

If a CSV file contains students that are not in the system (No match on the MSID field) and includes their barcode, then the students are imported straight into the Borrowers table rather than being stored in the Intake table and allocated the specified barcode.
