Resources Not Being Found When Scanning a Barcode


  • Junior Circulate - There is no book with this barcode
  • Senior Circulate - Resource not found

Most often this occurs when scanning a resource which has not yet been added to the catalogue or the barcode being typed/scanned does not match the barcode within the database. Ensure the resource is present in the catalogue, you can do this by using quick search.  If the resources is present check the barcode to make sure it matches the barcode being entered into Circulate. You may also need to check the barcode masks to make sure nothing is being removed automatically.
