Assigning a Form Tutor to a Tutor Group
To send Group Reminders to a class or form tutor, they must be assigned to the applicable Tutor Group. This information must be manually entered, and cannot be updated automatically via a CSV or automated sync through Wonde.
Rather than typing in the name of a form tutor, you can use the selection tool to locate the borrower to assign as a form tutor. This is only applicable when the form tutor is added on to the system as a borrower.
From the Tutor Group record card, click 'Find...'
Type in the name of the borrower you wish to set as the form tutor. You could search for a group name in here as well.
Click the name of the person and click 'Select'.
That borrower will be added into the 'Form Tutor' field on the tutor group record card. If this borrower record has an email address associated with it, the E-Mail field will be be populated with that email address.
Note that the details of the tutor are greyed out. This is due to the form tutor being assigned directly as a borrower. Should you wish to change the details of that form tutor, do so from the associated record in the Borrowers table.
What if the teacher does not have a borrower record?
You can enter the e-mail address manually into the E-Mail field. This will ensure that the group reminders reach the correct individual.
