Creating a Stock Check For Only Part Of the Library

You can create a stock check for only part of the library using the filters at the start of the creation process. 

After creating a stock check you will be presented with a box which allows you to define the parameters of the stock check, the default search is the entire catalogue but if you would like to filter it down you can do so by using one of the options such as class range, fiction author range, just reference books, level, location, media or owner.

You can then choose whether or not to include 'Resources currently on loan'. Once you have decided, click 'OK' and the stock check will be created. 

Using a smaller subset of the library for a stock check allows the issuing and returning of most resources to continue whilst just stock checking a certain section of stock. It also allows for the stock check process to take place over a longer period of time. 

Please note that it is not possible to filter the stock check down using more than one of these filters.
