Identifying Borrower's Security Groups
Purpose
Confirming and identifying the security group a Borrower belongs to.

This section does not cover: Group Manager, printing labels.
When to Do This
After student records are correct and logins are active.
Instructions
A borrower's security group can be viewed on an individual basis or it can be added to a page view so you can view it for all borrowers.
Individually Checking
- Log into your library system and load Management.
- Open the Borrowers table from the left-hand menu.
- Open the record of the borrower you would like to check by either double clicking the record in the grid or single clicking and then selecting 'Edit' on the right-hand menu.
- Once the borrower's record has opened, click the 'Advanced' tab and you will see the security group.
Checking for All Borrowers
- Log into your library system and load Management.
- Open the Borrowers table from the left-hand menu.
- Click 'More...' from the right-hand menu under 'Views', a box will open displaying the system's page views.
- Click the 'New' option on the right-hand side of the window (click 'No' when asked regarding the current view).
- Type in a description of the page view (for example 'Borrowers + Security Group').
- Under the Layout tab, select which fields you would like to display from the 'Available Fields' column, move them into the 'Display Fields' box by selecting them and clicking the arrow pointing to the right, be sure to select 'Security Group'.
- When the appropriate fields have been selected, click 'Save'. The system will take you back to the Page View screen.
- Under the Management heading, double click on the page view with the description you typed in.
- The screen will refresh and a column will display showing the security groups of the borrowers.
