Linking with RM Unify

Purpose

To provide guidance on the setup of the SSO integration between RM Unify and Reading Cloud.

Covers: RM Unify SSO integration setup.

This section does not cover: Configuration of RM Unify database.

When to Do This

After selecting your Identifier Provider in Reading Cloud.

Instructions

RM Unify works slightly differently to most other identity providers. Setup is very simple, in that once you have selected your identity provider in the library system, you only need to enter the DFE number of your school (or SEED number for schools in Scotland) into the box. Do not include the forward slash however, the number needs to entered as if it were a single 7 digit number.

Once this has been done, you will need to export a CSV from RM Unify which will then be imported into the library system.

Once setup is complete, the borrowers will need to search for the Reading Cloud app within RM Unify. This will log them into Reading Cloud as it would any other app.

How some of our other customers have phrased this

- How do I connect RM Unify to Reading Cloud to enable SSO?

- I need help with my Identifier Provider settings for RM Unify.

- Can student log into Reading Cloud using their RM Unify details?
