Multiple Users on One Stock Check

If you have more than one desktop computer or laptop in the library and they each have a barcode reader or scanner, then you can log into the library system with the same logon credentials on each machine, open the same stock check and all scan books into it. If using this method, ensure that before completing the stock check everyone involved has finished scanning and have closed the stock check then the person who is completing it can reopen it again and all the changes made by the other users will update. 

 

If you only have the one computer in the library but would still like more than one person to take part in the stock check, a good option is to use the Reading Cloud mobile app. This would allow multiple users to scan books into the stock check simultaneously from the shelves without moving all the books to the computer.
