A Periodical or 'Periodical template', contains the main details of the resource type such as the Title, Classification, Publisher and ISSN. The idea is that a Periodical template is catalogued and then subsequent Periodical Issues are catalogued from the template, containing the appropriate Volume and Issue number and any other details related to that resource.
