Page View Appearance Tab

The Appearance tab allows you to customise the look of a page view. You can sent the style and size of the font that will be used for the view, how many records will show and set a custom icon for the view.

While editing a page view, click the 'Appearance' Tab.

Font

The Font section allows you to specify the Font style and size the view will use.

Select the Font and Size you would like to use from the two selection boxes and a preview will display in the box below.

Icon

The Icon section allows you to add an icon which may better represent the nature of the view (an image of an atom to represent the sciences etc).

Click 'Change...' to open the Icon Viewer, navigate through the list of categories on the left and select the icon you wish to use. It will then display in the box in the bottom left corner. Click 'Select' to save this selection and return to the previous window.

Other Settings

The 'Top (n)' setting allows you to specify how many results will be displayed e.g. if the number 10 is entered, then only 10 results will be displayed when the view is loaded. This is most often used for a 'Top Ten' style view.

Click 'Save' once any changes have been made to save these settings and close the view.
