To ensure your library system is running most effectively we have made some changes to the scheduler.
We have set the frequency and run time of some tasks so they now always run out of school hours as standard to ensure they will not affect the day to day functioning of your library system.
The scheduled tasks in question are:
- AR Quiz
- Data Tidy
- Discovery
- WhoNext
You will now see when loading the scheduler for any of these tasks that the 'Start Date', 'Start Time' and 'Frequency' are locked and cannot be customised. Data Tidy, Discovery and WhoNext are all locked to Saturday at a randomly decided time, AR Quiz is locked to Monday at 18:00.
To activate one of these tasks, all you need to do is select the clock icon next to the task in question to open the scheduler and then press the 'OK' button to save and close the settings box. The task will then run at the scheduled time.
To cancel a task, click the clock icon to open the scheduler, then tick the 'Disable Schedule' box and press the 'OK' button to save these changes.
