What Should I Do if the School Changes MIS?
If you are about to, or already have, changed MIS, there may be certain steps you need to take to ensure your student import process continues unaffected.
If you would normally use a CSV for your student import, there is no difference to how you would carry out your student import, you just need to export a CSV from your new MIS.
Tip: Streamline your student data management with Intake. Find out more here.
If you use our automated system via Wonde to facilitate your student import, there are certain steps that need to be carried out in order for Wonde to continue unaffected.
If You Have Not Yet Migrated
Please contact us and let us know you are about to change MIS. We will pause the sync from Wonde and we will wipe all the management system IDs from your borrower records.
We will continue to liaise with you, then once the MIS migration has completed successfully, we will restart the sync. The borrowers should then match on their Forename and Surname, only leaving behind a few unmatched borrowers, you will then need to manually match these records.
The MSID of the borrowers will then be updated with the new IDs and they will continue to match going forward.
If You Have Already Migrated
If you have already migrated your MIS, you might see all your borrowers in the intake table, they will not have matched due to the difference in the MSID.
Please contact us and let us know about the change. We will pause the sync from Wonde, wipe all the management system IDs from your borrower records and restart the sync.
We will remove the borrowers from the intake table, then the next time the sync runs, they will match on their Forename and Surname, only leaving behind a few unmatched borrowers, you will then need to manually match these records.
The MSID of the borrowers will then be updated with the new IDs and they will continue to match going forward.
