Scheduling Reminders

Reminders that are generated on a scheduled basis will only be sent to users who have overdue books. To send reminders to borrowers with non overdue resources, you need to manually generate them.

Before scheduling reminders we recommend you set up the reminder settings, such as the output, orientation and recipient and the scheduler specific settings, as the settings configured here will be used when they are generated.

Scheduling Reminders

Log into your library system and click 'Manage Library' or 'Library Only'.

Click 'Tools' on the top menu and select 'Schedule' or click 'Schedule' in the right-hand menu.

The 'Scheduler' interface will open. Look for either 'Individual Reminders' or 'Group Reminders' then click on the corresponding  clock  to access the settings.

Enter the desired settings to configure when and how often the reminders should be generated.

Click 'OK' to save the changes then click 'Close' on Scheduler window.

Once the settings have been configured, the scheduled reminders will generate at the defined date and time. Once the routine has completed, any reminders that have been set to print will be sent to the output table where they can be viewed and printed.
