Adding Borrowers to Sites

When your Sites have been created, you can assign you borrowers to them. Once you have also allocated resources to the sites, the assigned borrowers will be able to only view and reserve resources for the same site they are allocated to. 

Borrowers can be assigned to sites either individually or in bulk.

 

Assigning a Borrower to a Site Individually

  • Log into your library site with administrator credentials and load Management.
  • Select 'Borrowers' from the left-hand menu and locate the required borrower.
  • Select the borrower and click 'Edit' in the right-hand menu to open the record card.
  • Click on the 'Advanced' Tab, under other information there is the option to select the Site.
  • Once selected click 'Save'. 

 

Assigning Borrowers to a Site in Bulk

  • Log into your library site with administrator credentials and load Management.
  • Select 'Borrowers' from the left-hand menu. 
  • Use Flag by Mouse, or Advanced Search to filter the table down to the records that need updating. 
  • On the menu bar at the top of the page, select 'Tools' then 'Quick Replace'.
  • Use the Quick Replace feature to update the Site for the selected borrowers.

 

Assigning Tutor Groups

if you are assigning sites by age and all the borrowers are split by tutor group, you can also assign each tutor group to a site, the site will then filter down to the borrowers in that group. 

  • Log into your library site with administrator credentials and load Management.
  • Select 'Tutor Groups' from the left-hand menu. 
  • Select a group and click 'Edit' in the right-hand menu to open the record card.
  • Use the 'Site Name' box to select the site and click 'Save'.
  • Repeat for each group.
