Guardian Information

The Reading Cloud library system has the ability to retain guardian information. This information is located on the borrower's record card. Adding this information to the Reading Cloud system can be done in a couple of different ways.

Student Import

During the student import process, it is possible to import guardian information from your management system. This can be accomplished when using either a CSV file or our automatic import method (Attached PDF).

Manual Update

Within a borrower's record under the 'Details tab' there are two 'Guardian' tabs (one for each guardian) that can be used to store information about the borrower’s guardians. Here the data can be added manually. 

Once you have your borrower's guardian details populated, you can change your reminders to send to the guardian instead of the borrower.
