Hampshire Schools Library Service (SLS) Barcode Masks
It is possible for a Hampshire SLS Barcode to not be recognised in Circulate.
Hampshire SLS Barcodes have two different variations a 10 and 12 digit version. To ensure these can be scanned by Circulate two Barcode Masks are needed - to add these you must be logged in as a Reading Cloud Administrator, not Librarian User - to create these Masks, open Management then click on 'Settings' at the top of the page and select the 'Barcodes' option in the menu.
With the Barcode Masks window open click 'New' and add the following two masks (note: both are required):
Mask 1
- Description: Hampshire SLS 10 Digits
- Type: Resource
- Mask: ?#########
- Modification Mask: %?????????
- Tick Return the Value
Mask 2
- Description: Hampshire SLS 12 Digits
- Type: Resource
- Mask: ??##?#######
- Modification Mask: %%??%???????
- Tick Return the Value
Once the above Barcode Masks have been created, close and reopen Circulate to pick up the new masks, then these resources can be issued/returned.
