Page View Record Selection Tab

The Record Selection tab of a page view allows you to specify which records show when opening a page view and in what order they are displayed.

For example, you can create a page view to show only non fiction resources and have them sorted in Dewey classification order.

While editing a page view, click the 'Record Selection' tab.

Default Search

To create a search on the page view, click 'change...' under Default Search.

The Advanced Search window will then open. You can then enter an advanced search into this section that will filter the records when the view is loaded.

When you are happy with your search criteria, move onto the 'Sort Order' or click 'Save' at the bottom of the record card to save and close the view.

Sort Order

To specify a sort order, click the 'Change...' button under Sort Order.

Use the Sort Order box to specify a sort on the view.

When you are happy with your sort criteria, click 'Save' at the bottom of the record card to save and close the view.
