Most of these are self-explanatory by their title:
- 'Title' is for the title of the resource.
- 'Series' is for the series title if the book is part of one.
- 'Author' is for the author of the resource. If there is more than one, the arrow to the right of the box gives the option for up to 3 more.
- 'Class' is for the Dewey classification of the book. You can use "Fiction" or "FIC" for fiction resources if you like, anything can be entered here.
- The 'Colour' box will show the Colour Code associated with the class, if one has been set.
- 'Publisher' is for the publisher of the resource.
- 'Illustrator' is for the illustrator of the resource. As with author, if there are multiple illustrators, the arrow to the right of the box gives the option for up to 2 additional illustrators.
- The 'Location' box is for assigning where the resource is located. This is useful when you have multiple libraries or resources in classrooms.
- 'EAN/ISBN' is for the unique number assigned to the resource, normally located as a barcode on the back cover.

- 'Publication Date' is used for the date the resource was published.

- The 'Fiction' tick box is used to denote that a resource is a fiction resource. This should still be ticked, even when using "Fiction" as the class.
- The 'Reference' tick box is used to indicate a resource is a reference resource. This is often used for resources that are not to be borrowed and must stay within the library.
- The 'Out of Print' tick box is used to indicate that a resource is no longer in print.
Keywords/More
This section has two tabs. The 'Keywords' tab shows all keywords currently associated with the resource. You can use the buttons at the bottom of this section to add new keywords, edit existing keywords, remove a single keyword, or remove all keywords.
The 'More...' tab provides a few more fields for tracking resource data.
- The RFID field stores the RFID number of the resource's tag, this is only used if you use RFID and security gates.
- The Supplier field is where you purchased the resource from.
- The Description field is used to give a physical description of the resource. This is not the summary or the keywords.
- The missing tick box shows whether or not the resource has been marked as missing.
- If the resource has been marked as missing, the reason given will show in the Reason box.
Catalogue Info
The third and final area is the Catalogue Info section.
This shows the date a resource was added, this can be changed if you have had to remove and re-add a resource for some reason, you can use this to backdate it so that the date is correct.
The other three fields cannot be edited, these show:
- The number of copies this resource has, 1 means that this is the only copy.
- The current status of the resource, whether it is available, on loan, reserved, or overdue.
- The date the resource was recycled if it has been.
